Mr. Neumeister’s  9th graders have just finished a study of ancient Egypt and after reading the pyramid texts they produced their own tomb books which show drawings of interiors and exteriors of Egyptian tombs as well as maps and profiles.  Also included are interesting funeral songs and personal essays on how they see their lives in the future which they pondered and wrote themselves. The books end with formulating their names in Egyptian hieroglyphics cartouche. As you can see the results were interesting, well executed and quite appealing.
